slutcon.com is operated by Weird Party, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). We produce SlutCon, an educational conference. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our website or purchase a ticket, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. Note that we have a distinct privacy policy for the event itself which covers your obligations in keeping the information of other attendees and participants confidential.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Who we share your data with
We share data only as necessary to operate the Site and Conference:
- Payment processor: to complete your transaction. Their privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data.
- Internal organizational tools (Airtable, Google Drive, Gmail): to manage registrations and send emails related to this event.
- Legal or regulatory authorities: if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights.
- Advertising platforms (currently Reddit): when we run ads, a measurement pixel on the Site reports back that a visit or ticket purchase happened, so we can tell which ads worked. This sends the advertising platform your IP address, browser information, and which of our pages you viewed. It does not send your name, email address, or payment details. The platform may also use this data under its own privacy policy.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with data brokers. Aside from the advertising measurement described above, we do not provide your data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site. These fall into three categories:
- Essential cookies: Required for the Site to function (e.g., session management, checkout). Cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies: Help us understand how visitors use the Site. Anonymized where possible. You can opt out via your browser settings or a cookie consent tool.
- Advertising measurement: While we are running ad campaigns, we load the Reddit advertising pixel. It records that a visit, a ticket-page click, or a purchase occurred and attributes it to the ad you clicked. We use it to measure whether our advertising is working, not to build profiles of you or to retarget you elsewhere.
- Referral tracking: We store a small record in your browser noting where you first arrived from (for example, a link in a Reddit ad) for up to 30 days, and pass that label to our payment processor with a purchase so we can credit the sale to the right campaign. It contains no personal information.
You can manage or disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings at any time. Browser-level tracking protection or an ad blocker will block the advertising pixel, and the Site works normally without it.
6. Data retention
- Transaction and identity records are retained for 7 years to comply with tax and financial recordkeeping requirements.
- Event communications are retained for 5 years after the most recent Conference you attended.
- Marketing consent records are retained for as long as you remain subscribed, plus 2 years.
- Technical / usage data is retained for 24 months in analytics systems.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Deletion: Ask us to delete your data, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Opt out of marketing: Unsubscribe at any time via the link in any marketing email.
- Data portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent: Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

8. Data security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but take reasonable precautions to protect your information.
9. Children's privacy
The Site and Conference are intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us at slutbookings@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered attendees or posted on the Site with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
